Energy & Climate Protection

The success of climate protection will be decided in cities since this is where nearly 80 percent of greenhouse gas emissions are released. Considerable change is necessary in order to drastically reduce CO2 emission levels. Wien Energie produces power, heat and cooling energy in an extremely efficient and environmentally friendly manner. We will continue to invest heavily in climate protection, security of supply and the expansion of renewables in the coming years.

We work together with startups, research institutes and industrial partners to develop creative and future-oriented solutions as well as ready-for-market offerings – in the interests of our customers and more climate protection in the city.
